Summer at HSArts 2022 offers a variety of fun and exciting summer camps in our state-of-the-art facility with large, spacious studios and classrooms.
Become a Young Artist and explore visual arts, dance, music, and theater in a fun-filled environment. Join the Summer Arts Academy and take exclusive masterclasses with award-winning artist instructors who will push your technique to the next level. Reinforce your studies with Summer Academics and earn high school credits.

Summer Arts Academy
Advanced Ballet Intensive (11+)
Session II
Reach your maximum dance potential in classical ballet in the Advanced Ballet Intensive with Mr. Wei. Incorporating the Vaganova method, dancers will learn repertoire to showcase on the final day of the intensive and beyond.

Reach your maximum dance potential in classical Chinese dance. Improve your technique, flexibility and strength in a fun and focused environment.

Refine your skills in drawing, painting and design with professional artists.

Master the methodologies and the technical building blocks needed to become a well-rounded visual artist.

Learn to mix colors and observe how light sources affect color to accurately reproduce real life subjects when painting with oils.

Hones artists’ visual problem-solving skills in drawing and painting representational realism using the animal as a learning vehicle.

Learn how to film and edit videos to tell a story through fun, hands-on experience with film making equipment and software.

Sing, dance, and act your way onto stage and join fellow aspiring performers to recreate Broadway magic from camp-favorites such as Lion King, The Greatest Showman and more!

Session I
Campers will take classes in flexibility, Ballet, Chinese Dance, tumbling, and learn a full-length dance.

Sessions I, II
Engage in coding and hands-on engineering activities such as building catapults, bridges, and potato cannons. Campers will also explore the 'A' for Art in this camp.

Immerse yourself in Chinese language and traditions through dance, calligraphy and painting.

Geometry Summer Math
Session I - II
Earn credits in Geometry to open up your schedule in high school for AP math courses. This is a 6-week course.
Intensive SAT Workshop

Prepare for the SAT in this one-week intensive summer workshop of test taking strategies, mock tests, and one-on-one help.
